Verba volant, scripta manent, a Latin proverb, means "spoken words fly away, written words remain." Such is the power of written words, especially words of love and passion. To celebrate love this Valentine's day, we're seeking submissions of short stories and poetry in the romance genre on the topic 'lovers'. 

How to submit?

a. Write a 1,000 to 8,000-word story or essay, or 200 to 4,000-word poem, and submit it HERE for curation.

NOTE - You may submit compilations or more than 1 entry, in which case you can compile all the entries into a single file with the total word count within the above mentioned limits.

b. Content should be in English OR Tagalog only.

c. Open to all themes except Religion and Politics.

d. Upload your submissions HERE at the latest by 15th Feb'22.

Curations and processing will be on a rolling basis. As a result, the earlier you submit, the better.

All selected participants' books (anthologies) will be published, distributed, and promoted by us as paperbacks, hardcovers, and eBooks worldwide, with an equal share of royalties paid to the authors.

All submissions received by the 12th of February will be considered for nominations for the Valentine Writer Award. The winner(s) will be announced on February 20th, 2022, will be featured on our social media platforms, and will receive a digital certificate of excellence.

Content containing calls to violence or insults to any social groups will not be included!
